Lemon Curd  Thumbprint  Cookies

cream cheese  butter  powdered sugar flour, vanilla lemon curd

use a hand mixer to cream the butter, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.

add the flour and mix until a stiff dough ball forms.

divide into 12 balls and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.

press down the ball to form small disc shape. use the back of a spoon to lightly press indentations into the middle.              

place about a teaspoon of lemon curd into the indentation in the cookie dough.

bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20-22 minutes, until the cookies are a light brown around the edges. let cool slightly and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
