Lets get saucy with my tasty Slow Cooker Marinara Recipe!

This is such an easy recipe and can be doubled for a larger batch.

Turn on the slow cooker and let preheat while gathering the ingredients. Add the olive oil, diced onion, minced garlic, and grated carrot.

Pour in the crushed tomatoes. Add the dried basil and red pepper flakes.  Adjust the amount of seasoning to your personal taste.  I love tons of red pepper!

Stir halfway through cooking. If the sauce starts to get too thick just add a little wine or water

Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
