Ingredients

large pears
peeled, cored, and halved.
1
tablespoon
apple juice or orange juice
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Lay the pears cut side down on a baking sheet.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the pears are tender and soft.
Transfer the cooked pears to a large measuring cup. Smash with a wooden spoon
Add the juice and use a whisk to smooth the sauce. If you want a perfectly smooth sauce then use an immersion blender to puree the pears.
Cool and transfer to a small 4-ounce mason jar or another container with a lid.
