Lightly spray a 4-quart slow cooker with vegetable oil. Arrange the chicken thighs on the bottom of the slow cooker insert.
In a bowl or measuring cup combine the soy sauce, ketchup, honey, garlic paste, oregano, and parsley.
Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken.
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165° F.
Notes
Use enough chicken thighs to cover the bottom of your slow cooker., if you make a smaller amount then use a smaller slow cooker. This is a great recipe to make in the 2 1/2 quart casserole crockpot.
Your slow cooker may run a little hotter or cooler so it’s good to check the chicken after 4 hours to avoid overcooking and to determine you need to cook longer than the suggested 4 hours.
165° Fahrenheit is the safe internal temperature for chicken.
