Ingredients

Green grapes, sparkling wine and sugar in ramekin on table.

What type of grapes? You can use any seedless grapes you like for this recipe, but I prefer the green grapes because of the tart flavor. Using seedless grapes is important!

What type of sparkling wine? Use your favorite sparkling wine. They all work great.

Quick Tip

You do not have to freeze these, they can be served once they’re coated and chilled. The frozen grapes however, will last longer when serving at a gathering.

Step Three: Work in small batches, maybe 10-12 grapes at a time. Roll the grapes in the sugar to get well coated. Remove from the sugar and place on a serving plate in a single layer. After you have coated about have of the grapes, the sugar may get a little clumpy, toss it and use the remaining half for the rest of the grapes.
